The Challenge: 

The corporate event at the Conrad, Manila, faced an immediate problem: the much larger-than-expected crowd caused cellular signals to drop severely. This weakened signal directly threatened the essential functions of the event, specifically maintaining a high-quality live stream feed and keeping the critical Microsoft Teams communication running smoothly. We needed a fast, effective solution to stabilize the network under the heavy load.

Our Solution: Peplink Unbreakable Bonding

Cybrix Media fixed the connectivity issues by quickly deploying a system built for cellular backup and smart traffic control.

  1. Cybrix Media deployed high-power cellular routers and external 4G/5G antennas, including an omni-directional antenna, to quickly boost and stabilize the widespread cellular reception degraded by the large number of attendees.
  2. We used Peplink Multi-Link Aggregation (MLA) with three cellular modems to combine the different network connections into one very fast, reliable link, handling all of the event's data traffic.
  3. The system was configured to prioritize data traffic for the high-bandwidth live stream and Microsoft Teams, guaranteeing a perfect connection and stable performance for the most important event functions.
